Lake la Redonda, near Cayo Coco in Ciego de Ávila  Coordinates: 22°13'8"N 78°33'2"W Surface area: 4.5 km² Settlements: Morón The Lake la Redonda is located in of Ciego de Ávila province, in address to Cayo Coco. La Redonda has 4,5 surface km² and an extensive net of natural channels. Is considered one of the Cuban lakes with more concentration of trouts. It is the headquarters of the International Center of the Fishing of that species of fresh water. This lagoon has for the most part as vegetation the swamps! in fresh water! that also happens in the Lagoon of the Milk, located scarce kilometers of this, what separates it of the sea is only a small earth strip, here all the waters coming from a vast plain converge. |
